Apartment Review for Russellville Commons - Portland, OR

We live in one of the 3 bdrm townhouses on quiet side of the complex. Street parking is fine during the day but after 7pm, it's non-existent. We do have parking passes for the small parking lots behind the building but those spots are only available about half the time when I get home from work (usually after 10pm). We have particularly loud neighbors who love to crank their music up with the bass so loud it rattles our framed photos/paintings off the walls! While the walls and floors in the whole place are pretty thin, I finally had to put blankets up on my walls to block the noise from the neighbors' tv at night in the master bedroom. The overall condition of the unit is nice enough though and the air flow has been surprisingly great this summer. We leave our windows open all day/night on both floors and haven't had any need for our AC units. Good thing though, since they office requires that they install them for you and you pay them $50/AC unit! Make sure you account for all the stairs in the unit if you're considering a townhouse...it was not fun moving 3 people's worth of stuff in here! Having the max nearby is nice, but we're definitely looking forward to moving back to town when our lease is up.
